On the large island of Miracol, humans and Pokemon have coexisted for eons - though the last hundred years the Pokemon trainer populace has decreased as humans moved away to explore other regions or grew up following their parents and choose other professions. Right now the region is under a large boom of Pokemon and humans working together as partners in work; in power plants, hospitals, agriculture, and of course - Pokemon Rangers. They are the law and protectors of nature, for as for as long as anyone remembers, wild Pokemon greatly outnumbered tamed Pokemon. Wild Pokemon sometimes find themselves in the middle of human settlement, and while some distance themselves from the people, most tend to become scared or already blind by fury due to a mishap before coming into the city - making the Rangers highly regarded and praised.
In the depths and in the highest peaks of nature claimed by the wild, exist those who most only known through story. They mingle with the Pokemon of the island, and some 'Special' Pokemon know them even more personally. These beings, are the creatures known as Legendary Pokemon, and yes, they all exist on this landmass - a secret that has kept them safe from villainous organizations but for how long?
In this RP, you can play as a Human (Trainer, Ranger, Villain, other), Pokemon (Wild or Captured) or if we accept your request - A Pokemorph.
Welcome to the Miracol Region, where legends are made!

The floor clanked and rumbled, shadows danced erratically with the light shining through dusty bulbs rocking side to side, things beyond the windows view rushed on by with a dizzying speed; the air itself seemed to shiver. Her knuckles were white with how she gripped the plastic strap hanging off a support pole anchored to the ceiling, bright blue eyes trained on the male across the room rather then the hellstorm going on around them. She was in her element - in her zone. The terrifying speed and fragileness of the vehicle only made it sweeter.
"Rhyperior, Rock Wrecker!" Jamie ordered, only then turning her unflinching gaze to the Pokemon the other trainer had used mere seconds ago. "Use it on Beartic while you have an opening!"
"RHY!" the Drill Pokemon barked, it's large bulky arm lifting, wobbling alittle before settling, only to then explode with sound as a rock the size of a human fist shot towards it's target. This quickly was followed by bits of stone around Rhyperior flying after the rock, causing it to rapidly grow, a red aura starting to show. First in front of the Pokemon Trainer, now flying past, was Jamie's Magmortar as the blunt of Beartic's Brine took it's toll and forced him off it's feet. The bear Pokemon only was done closing it's mouth, effectively cutting off the rest of it's water-flow, when it turned in surprise to witness the boulder-large mass inches from it's body. It's paws just closed around the rock as it made contact, feet sliding several feet as it took the hit, but the male trainer was faced with another problem, as he glanced towards Jamie. Magmortar grunted, and pulled himself upright, his flames on his head and shoulders were smaller but his spirit wasn't dampened. He happily joined the teen by her side, casting a glance her way. She met it with a twinkle in her eyes, and smirking, braced her legs and called out, "Okay Magmortar, Fire Blast at Mienshao!"
The Pokemon's flames started to wildly dance, as the claws on it's left hand sank into the skin and the hand fanned out to become a cannon. The inside of it's arm was dark at first, but soon blossomed with wicked light and gold-orange fire flew out as a ball, a tail trailing off like a comet. The opponents purple Pokemon was ready unlike it's partner, so the trainer swallowing the lump in his throat, commanded it to counter with Swift. The stars cut through the fire, reducing it to ribbons of flame that died shortly after, though some where shot back towards the Pokemon that issued them and Jamie. The girl was ready however. Within her mind she called forth a power, and the dark-blue oval mark on her forehead hidden by her hair responded. Invisible wind took shape and flew from her body, cutting the fire in half so it flew around her, the heat billowing past and just grazing her cheeks before fading away. Her Pokemon knew in their own way that it was Razor Wind that was used to harmlessly remove the fire from her path. Her long hair pinned up on the top of her hair in a bun-like fashion stopped whipping around with the gale and bounced against her back, when she let go of the support strap without a trace of fear.
Now back on track, she glanced to her Rhyperior who was recharging and therefore would need to be protected from any incoming attacks. Both of her Pokemon had felt the sting of battle for the fight had been ongoing for many minutes, but it was the end for her opponent. He just needed a nudge.
Her smirk came back full-force as a wicked idea came to mind. She tapped her finger against her lips before speaking. "Magmortar, do you not agree that another fire-type attack may be in order?" she said causally in a low voice, intended only for her Pokemon, as if she expected him to answer back with words. The Pokemon let out a breathy hiss instead, it's breath sizzling and searing. Across the train car, the Meinshao seemed rallied and impatient and with a cry, flung out it's opposite arm then it used last time and sent another volley of Swift at the young lady's team, this time as an assault meant to harm both Pokemon. "Flame Thrower this time Magmortar, but focus on the flow of the fire, not the heat." She said in a voice she didn't use much, one with a hidden meaning. Without another word, Magmortar marched to the middle of their side of the car, and inhaling, sent a beam of fire at the Martial Arts Pokémon. The fire managed to catch most of the golden stars within it's berth, but few did still head Rhyperior's way. No matter, for the Drill Pokemon shook off it's temporary paralysis and block them with it's tail, barely fazing it. Magmortar continued to use it's Flame Thrower attack, much to the confusion of the other Trainer for nothing seemed to be happening to the Swift attack as he imaged. Instead, the stars hovered in the amidst of the flames, then before his eyes; they started to back up, gaining speed and then actually getting shot back at the Pokemon that released them! It was then that he understood, the fire was created in such away that the focus was on the flow or push of the fire, not burning the Swift to ash. The plan had been to capture the star-shaped energy, set them ablaze and drive them back on the attacking, successfully inflicting twice the damage with the counter-attack, so the trainer pushed down his dismay and shouted an order. This was drowned out by the Meinshao thrusting its head back, gasping loudly only to let out a shriek as the fiery stars came whipping its way, a large explosion of smoke erupting when it hit the Pokemon.
The boulder held in Beartic's paws crumbled at last, and Beartic groaned, he had bruises up and down his fur coat. He slumped from the waist up, spent. Jamie snapped her fingers. "Okay, let's finish this up." She sent a smile her opponents way and blew him a kiss. "No hard feelings, but you've lost." She said airily, brushing a hand against her skirt like it was the most interesting thing in the room. "Rhyperior, Take Down on Beartic. Magmortar, take it easy." she said lazily, still gazing downward and now ruffling up her outfit. The large Pokemon hutched up his shoulders, levying them up and down as he pumped himself up, and gradually a whitish-silver haze started to evelop it. "Rhy, Rhyperior!" he said with moxie, and broke into a run. Beartic growled, and shakily stood, but knowing it couldn't pull off an attack - it was going to go for a side-step. But even that proved too much effort, for the Freezing Pokemon as it's gray-eyes widened and it sighed sadly instead. Meinshao coughed as the smoke subdued, and it blinked in surprise at the speed the Rock-Ground type was pulling off. It was at the brink of fainting, but it was very like it's trainer; stubborn and full of rage, so it gritted it's teeth and looked to the human male. Magmortar uncrossed it's arms, and lost it's smirk, it was staring at the two on the other side of the field with rapt attention. "Hmm?" Jamie mused, noticing her Pokemon. "Magmortar, I feel something too..." The Pokemon continued to watch. "Mag.." the Pokemon muttered, and then took off. The Purple Pokemon caught the female and her Magmortar watching, and smiling darkly, slid it's paw from out of it's sleeve-like long fur. It took a stance just as it pulled it's arm back and unleashed a powerful Drain Punch attack at Rhyperior's side. The charge made contact with Beartic and it went limp and silent, fainting before it hit the floor.
As for Rhyperior, it clamped it's mouth closed, silencing the grunt of pain that threatened to escape but rather, an uneasy smile came as it imagined they won. He loosened up, eyes crinkling up as the smile widened but then faltered. He was pushed from behind. Warmth only comparable to fire danced across his rocky skin, and he turned slowly, only realizing how close he was to a KO. His buddy Magmortar was the one that pushed him, by accident, hand locked around Meinshao's forearm halting the Drain Punch as it the fist was being pushed forward without gaining much ground. The eyes of the purple Pokemon was of fury, but within seconds, they closed as the Pokemon fainted.
The battle sub-car was silent except for the occasional rattle. Then over speakers, a monotone computer voice declared, "Trainer Kurt's Pokemon can no longer battle. Trainer Jamie is the winner." The male trainer stood, mouth agape, before pulling his hat down over his face trying to hide his frown. Jamie whooted and stomped her foot. "Another victory for the books." She laughed in triumphant. Magmortar gingerly lowered the Meinshao to the floor and both Jamie's Pokemon stayed put as the girl came towards the other person. "Well, as agreed, we had a three-on-three battle." She said after a period of silence as she crossed the room. "But it seemed that you didn't have what it took to make me use my last Pokemon." She said, toning down her over-exuberance as she spoke those words. "I now hope you know that strength isn't everything, and not to pick Pokemon with based on what they know now, not what you can teach them on your journey. And I'm not just talking about move-sets." she said seriously. To the scowling boy's surprise, he witnessed both of Jamie's rugged, large Pokemon extend their hands to his Pokemon as they came to, offering to help them stand. All four Pokemon let out quiet exchanges of Pokemon language among themselves, sometimes nodding and even small, quick smiles after. Trainer Kurt glanced at Jamie after watching his Pokemon for awhile, and from the look in his eyes, she figured he understood. If he would use her advice, who knew.
He recalled his Pokemon and after patting her boy's on the arm, she did the same. The doors to the room clunked close with his departure and the illusion dropped away, revealing the subway was just a simulation done-up with screens and the room was programmed to have several different appearances. Jamie grunted, and looked down at her throat, where a pink and black sphere was connected to a gold chain that was her necklace she wore everyday. She fingered it, lost in her thoughts, only to see something in the corner of her vision. She glanced up, spotting a camera attached to the space on the wall not quite touching the ceiling. It was dusty and looked very much like it hadn't been used for a long time, and if she remembered correctly; it was used to capture the battle in real-time from outside of the room, back in the days of trainers, where the staff of this building and spectators would watch a good fight in awe. But now it felt like that little red recording light would never come on again.

A heavy sigh issued from behind the large barrels of pokéfood where Harvey crouched. He was bored, he'd been waiting for three hours for an opportunity to strike. He didn't even know what his bosses wanted with this new food recipie, it all seemed silly. But he didn't want to find out what happened to grunts who disobeyed orders. Sneasel had been crouching beside him at first but after an hour and a half, (he was guessing here as his superiors considered a watch as a uniform alteration, which was strictly forbidden) he told the poor thing it could wander and amuse itself. The weasel Pokémon was currently collecting shiny rocks on the far side of the driveway. "heh-hem" Harvey stood up quickly, turning to face whoever it was while at the same time pushing his hair back under the cold helmet, worried it might be one of his bosses. It was Officer Jenny with her hands on her hips trying to look angry but a kind smile was tickling the corners of her mouth. "What do you think your doing here, buddy?" Harvey almost didn't hear her; he was caught up in her beautiful face the smile that was trying to push through. His ears didn't seem to be working right and in any case she seemed to be talking strangely slow. He then notice everything seemed to be moving slower than it should be, what was going on? "Huh?" said Harvey, dreamily. Gosh, she was beautiful. "I asked you what buisiness you have being here, this is a hard hat zone you should be wearing something protective. And what's with this gettup? Are you in some kind of club?" "No, Miss Jenny!" insisted Harvey, returning to reality, he shook his head "I'm a grunt for Team Iron Fist." "Team Iron what? There are no evil teams is Miracol, what is this?" Interogated Officer Jenny, looking confused. "Oh dear," said Harvey "I shouldn't have told you that. Sneasel, let get out of here!" he shouted, fleeing. "Snea!" cried the Pokemon, running after him. When it caught up with him, it jumped and gripped onto his shoulders, the iron plates grafted into the uniform protecting him from the sharp claws. "Hey! Wait up!" cried Officer Jenny, running after him. * * * She was determined, he'd give her that. She'd been chasing him through the city for 15 minutes and still had not given up. He'd have to lose her in one of these buildings. He turned a corner and ducked into a U-Shaped building. He quickly closed the door and leaned against it panting. he was greeted by a suprised woman at a desk. "Hi! Uh, can I, uh, help you?" "shh..." he said rushing up to her. He looked back at the door. "If I go to the basement," he looked back at the woman, "what will I find there?" "Uh, the waiting room for the simulator?" "And if a woman comes in here looking for me," he continued "you won't tell her where I am?" "Uh, sure. "Good" He said, turning towards the lift to the left of the large desk. * * *

Jamie made her way out of the battle sim with a push of the left double door, closed-toe sandals making the smallest noise once in a while. As she made her way to the elevator, she rearranged her outfit, for the sim didn't exactly leave her clothing in peace. Tugging on her battle gloves {white things with navy-blue fingers}, she then organized her blue vest over her white tank top and then her short skirt. She absentmindedly hit the up button, the only button, on the lift and settled back. The lack of battles with other trainers was bugging her, and the dust in the sim just proved her case. Jamie glanced at the display showing where the elevator currently was being used, and to her annoyance, it was still sitting on the ground floor. Minutes ticked by, and the screen continued to show 'G'. After a moments hesitance, it changed to B1. "Finally." she murmured.

Harvey pressed the button for the basement on the elevator panel to the right of the door. The lift gave a jerk and threw Harvey off balance. Sneasel gave a cry of surprise and stumbled a bit. Harvey straightened his uniform which had gotten crumpled in the chase. He took off his cold metal helmet to straighten his hair and replaced the helmet leaving three locks of iron grey hair sticking out from it and covering his forehead. Sneasel stood in the left-front corner nearest the door and examined it's claws for imperfections. The elevator gave another jerk and binged as it reached the destination floor. The doors opened to reveal a girl with floor-length white hair standing there looking impatient. Her face quickly transformed to a look of surprise and confusion. "Hi!" Harvey said brightly, if a little awkwardly. Sneasel peeked out from around the corner to get a look at the unexpected guest.

Jamie stared. Then as if nothing, she reverted back to her usual self and with a blur, thrust up her hand to silence the already quiet boy. "I'm sorry, you're a trainer right? That's great, I'm not being sarcastic, no really; this island and myself really need to start seeing more of that. But I just finished a battle, oh say, 5 minutes ago and I ought to take my Pokemon to the Center." she said, eyes half-lidded as if expecting anyone to already know what she knew. She then actually swept her eyes away from his face and truly took in his appearence, frowning after taking it all in - exspecially the insignia on the left of his chest. "Say, what is up with your choice of outfit, you part of something?" she said, devoid of any of the razzle of before, and a quiet dangerous edge came in at the last word. She won't meet his eyes full on anymore, instead turning her body away slightly and looking at him in the corner of her eyes. This thou, put her gaze in the direction of his Sneasel. "OH HEY!" she cried, and she stooped down so fast that her hair bounced up past her shoulders. "A Sneasel." she murmured, a smile reserved for Pokemon she was fond of, and she broke contact for just enough time to pull the canister from her pack and promptly offered a Poffin to the Pokemon - a flavour based how she read it's appearence and actions revealed it's nature.

Sneasel sniffed at the pastry, its tiny nose twitching, its eyes lit up. It looked pleadingly up at its master. "I guess so" Harvey said. Sneasel gasped excitedly, turned its head, snatched the poffin out of the girl's palm, and stuffed it in it's mouth. "It seems like you chose well. Thanks, Sneasel seems to love it. Can I get your recipie?" Harvey paused, should he tell her? She might tell Miss Jenny...and Master Stark would kill him if he found out Harvey had blabbed. Misstress Shaena wouldn't hurt him, she'd just be really angry, but Harvey wouldn't put it past Master Stark to commit homicide...But something about this girl held him; Something about her made him feel safe and comfortable. Comfort felt weird and alien to him, but he liked it. "I'll meet you in an hour at the café, don't tell anyone where I am. You never met me." Harvey said, seriously.

Jamie laughed softly to Sneasel's delight. "Well, what can I say, it plucked a string... or two." she murmured in reply to Harvey's thanks. Then in a louder voice, she added, "It's not a recipe given to me or anything like it, its all due to memory but if you could give me a moment.." and a nano-second later, pen to paper, she scrawled a hasty but incredibly neat poffin recipe and handed to him. She gave him a moment while she pocketed the pen, and handing it to him, she was startled when she sudden saw his expression completely changed to this serious demeanor.
"I'll meet you in an hour at the café, don't tell anyone where I am. You never met me."
Jamie froze. So this guy did have something to hide. And yet... she liked him. She slackened, and instead looked to him with a tilt to her head. "Surrre." she drawled out, still looking at him from her tilted perspective. She then straightened. "See you there, I guess." She still held out the recipe and held out her free hand for a handshake.

The bell above the door jingled merrily in great contrast to Harvey's sombre mood. He lowered himself into the booth across from Jamie. A waitress came over and he waved her away without looking at her. Harvey took a calming breath to steady his nerves, and began in a monotone voice. "I've been expressly forbidden from disclosing any information on my activities to those outside the organization. However, I feel oddly comforted in your presence. I am a member of Team Iron Fist, my superiors are Master Stark and Mistress Shaena. Master Stark bears a striking resemblance to the pokémon called Skarmory. If the whispers are to be trusted, he may be a rare being called a 'Pokémorph'. Unfortunately our purpose in unknown to me, I am only a lowly grunt. However, I can tell you that my most recent mission was to-- liberate, the recipe for the new pokémon food over at the factory in the north end of the city." Harvey looked visibly relieved when he finished, and he even smiled a bit.
